Who runs this
I'm Priyansh Saxena, a financial analyst working from New Delhi. I build the data pipelines and research tools that sit underneath market analysis: sourcing data, auditing it, computing the risk figures, and putting the result somewhere a person can actually use it.
I come from a non-traditional background. After pursuing my Master's from Queen Mary University of London, I built a successful 5-year-long career in Research and Content in fintech. The finance training came afterwards and deliberately: four Corporate Finance Institute programmes in financial modelling and valuation, capital markets, FP&A, and wealth management.
How the firm works
The operating principle is that data integrity comes before analysis. Market data arrives with gaps, duplicates, and contradictory ticks. Our tools audit before they compute, and they stop rather than charting something that failed inspection.
What we publish
Every figure we put in front of someone comes with its method: the formula, the data source, the assumptions, and the limitations. Where a calculation is an approximation, we say so.
The Quartermaster methodology is the clearest example. Every calculation written out in full, with a limitations section near the top rather than buried at the bottom, and a changelog recording corrections rather than quietly amending them.
